Fundraiser for Lava Victims

lava

As the lava from Kilauea volcano continues to flow through the Puna district on the Island of Hawaii, we have created a fundraiser to help those who have been displaced. 100% of the proceeds from the sales of our new woodcut print tote bags, Gathering Lehua, Macadamia Buzz and The Beekeepers, will be donated to the Hawaii Community Foundation's Hawaii Island Volcano Relief Fund.

These eco-organic cotton bags are imprinted with a woodcut print designed exclusively for Big Island Bees by award-winning artist, Andrea Pro. These tote bags can be found here.

Thankfully, our bees and farm are over 100 miles away from the eruption site and have not been affected by the lava. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected by this most recent lava flow. An alternative way to help those affected by the active volcano is to make a monetary donation directly to Hawaii Community Foundation's Hawaii Island Volcano Relief Fund. Information about this group and how to donate can be found at hawaiicommunityfoundation.org.

Update

Thank you! With your help, we raised over $800 for the Hawaii Community Foundation's Hawaii Island Volcano Relief Fund. The fundraiser is currently over. However, if you missed it, you can always make a cash donation to  hawaiicommunityfoundation.org. Our tote bags are still available at the same price and can be found here.
