This print is an image of the i'wi honeycreeper sipping nectar from a yellow blossomed lehua while honeybees gather nectar from the red blossoms. In the print, all phases of the lehua flower are shown - buds, full flower, the seed pod after the flower wilt and also the tiny 'ohi'a seeds scattering in the wind.
